Angel Town completed a trade to acquire Diego Rossi from Capital District in exchange for the Goal Keeper Luis Robles. The move was one the Stars had been keen on all offseason and immediately inked Rossi as the clubs 3rd designated player.

The Union have come to a decision regarding the clubs 3rd Designated Player announcing Matteo Mancosu will be given the tag, even though he is coming off a disappointing season. The Forward will be given a 2nd chance to make good on his opportunity.

Union S.C. has announced that Bastian Schweinsteiger will return for next season as a Designated Player.
The Midfielder played 24 matches in 2017 and tallied 2 goals and 6 assists during that time.

Vela the First Piece to the Puzzle

It was no surprise that Union S.C. would sign Carlos Vela to a Designated Player contract in 2018 when the club held a press conference today to make the announcement.
Union S.C. was ranked 7th in offense out of 10 clubs in 2017 and is hoping to improve on that.
Vela, age 28, has scored 72 goals in 200 matches in the Spanish top division.
